Thoughts on exiting the Paris Agreement

This is the day after President Trump made the announcement that the United States will not participate in the Climate Change Agreement.  Since then, the left and the media for the most part has gone rabid with reports of coastal flooding, mass starvation, and ultimately the end of the world as we know it.

Pushing that aside, let's look at the agreement as it stood:

1.  The agreement is non-binding.  That means it has the potential to do absolutely nothing.

2.  This was in effect a treaty, but was never ratified by Congress, which makes it null and void to begin with.

3.  If we self-enforced this, we would have lost millions of jobs and redistributed $100 billion+ to dictatorships throughout the world, supposedly for them to have the tools to eventually comply in 20 or so years with goals that pale in comparison to those inflicted on us.

4.  We would have been put in a non-competitive position with nations like India, China, and Russia because of emission restrictions that they would not have to comply with.

5.  We would have given up our sovereignty and ceased to be a nation.

6.  In order for this agreement to have any effect, there would have to be a change of at least 3.5 degrees down, but the agreement, even under the most liberal of interpretations, would only have the effect of pushing global temperatures down .2% over 40 years.

So why is is so important to the left that this agreement be kept in place?

This agreement was never meant to be something to solve climate change.  It was the first step to bringing about Socialist World Government.  That is the end-run that the likes of George Soros and the likes of the Bilderberg Group (currently meeting outside of DC to discuss this very topic) are shooting for.  These elites know that at the end of the day, if World Government happens they will be in the drivers seat, and their lives will be much better off.  But will ours be too?  No way!  These guys are the Pigs in the book Animal Farm, written by George Orwell.  George was a little ahead of his time, but his book was prophetic.  This was a book about socialism, and the dangers that system presents.  This should be mandatory reading in high schools everywhere.  Sadly, it is not.

President Trump did the right thing.  He pulled out of a toxic agreement that had the potential to ruin our country, and he is hated for doing it.  I find it funny that the left proposes that there is nothing we can do to secure our borders, that it is a phenomena that cannot be solved, but at the same time presents the Paris accord as a way that they can actually change the heavens!  Unbelievable!

Why are so many people embracing what the left churns out as the truth?  It is because a great deal of our population is simply uninformed.  They go about their daily life not thinking that decisions being made for them by far away bureaucrats have the potential to take away everything they value as Americans.  The left simply makes the untenable sound reasonable and good, and of course everyone wants to do good things,  I feels good to do what you think is right, even if in the end it is your downfall!
